The Apollo School of Nursing, Hyderabad was established in the year 1993 and College of Nursing in the year 2002. The college is committed in nurturing young minds with world-class expertise and professional skills.
Our College logo is unique in nature which depict a nurse carrying a torch, symbolizes a union of dedicated nursing care, with our expanded horizons in health care accessible to all by having vision as “Touching Billian Lives”.
The MISSION is to provide the best nursing education that combines continuous quality improvement with current technology and cost effectiveness within a framework that continually assesses and improves student performance in learning while rendering compassionate patient care, as per the International standards.

Apollo College of Nursing, Hyderabad, is situated in Jubilee Hills, an affluent suburban neighbourhood in Western part of Hyderabad. It is spread in an span of 35 acre land.
The college has a separate building on top of Administrative block, in 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor with 1,50,000 Sq.ft. Has 16 well ventilated classrooms with LCD Projectors, 4 Class rooms are Air-conditioned, Six Laboratories and one Simulation /skill lab equipped for their skill practice. The campus has sufficient leisure space for students. Surveillance cameras are installed in the campus for security and safety of the students and staff.
The college has a team of efficient and experienced faculty members, each specializing in their respective subjects. Their expertise makes studying manageable, with key points emphasized during lectures and well-designed PowerPoint presentations to support effective learning. Both teaching and non-teaching faculties are cooperative and friendly.
The College have 6 departments namely:
- Fundamentals of Nursing
- Medical and Surgical Nursing
- Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing
- Child Health Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
- Mental Health Nursing
Each department have Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Tutors as per regulatory norms.
Extracurricular activities add vibrancy to college life and play a vital role in student’s overall development as they allow them to explore and nurture their talents beyond the academic curriculum. Activities for college include sports and ultural fest for a week, students picnic etc.
The College takes glory in an open space amphitheatre that provides a focal point for extra curricular activities. It has been a centre for performances, students gatherings and competitions holding a seating capacity of 500.
The college provides excellent clinical exposure through its multi-specialty hospital. During internships, students rotate through various departments, including ICUs, operation theaters, and general wards. Additionally, community postings offer opportunities to visit rural areas and health camps.
Our college offers a wide range of co-curricular activities to complement academic learning including:

The library is fully automated with Newgenlib software. Barcode technology has been implemented and label assigned for each book. Jgate portal is used for the access of e-books, e-journals and Lib portal to access English language modules, nursing procedures, teaching videos, question papers, syllabus, teaching materials (Nursing) etc.

Clinical postings begin in the second semester. Students are divided into two batches, with one batch posted at Apollo General Hospital and the other at Apollo main hospital. We also have community health postings, where students gain extensive practical knowledge.
