Our campus includes a parent hospital that provides 24-hour medical facilities for students, along with excellent transport services. Over nine of our faculty members hold PhD qualifications. Additionally, the Institutional Ethics Committee of Apollo College of Nursing is recognized and registered under the CDSCO of the Ministry of Health, New Delhi.

Facilities
Situated on a sprawling 7-acre campus, Apollo College of Nursing is located on Poonamallee Highways, providing excellent connectivity to the airport, railway station, and Mofussil Bus Stand. The meticulously planned infrastructure, covering approximately 120,000 sq. ft. of built space, surpasses the standards set by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, and the Indian Nursing Council.
The Academic Block, spanning 70,000 sq ft, is composed of classrooms and laboratories.
All BSc (N) classrooms are air-conditioned, well-ventilated, and equipped with good lighting, modern furniture, and projection facilities. A high-quality PA system is also installed for enhanced learning experiences.
- B.Sc. Nursing: 4 classrooms, each with a seating capacity of 100 students.
- P.B.B.Sc. (N): 2 classrooms, each accommodating 50 students.
- Post Basic Diploma Nursing: 7 classrooms for 7 specialties, each measuring 750 sq. ft.
- M.Sc. Nursing: 12 classrooms in total—2 common classrooms (1,500 sq. ft. each) for 1st and 2nd-year classes, and 10 rooms for specialty courses.
Ph.D. Nursing: 4 classrooms, each measuring 500 sq. ft., designed to accommodate 25 students.
All classrooms are air-conditioned, well-ventilated, and equipped with good lighting, modern furniture, and projection facilities. A high-quality PA system is also installed for enhanced learning experiences.

The laboratories in the academic block are designed in accordance with the standards set by the Indian Nursing Council. Each lab spans 1500 sq ft, with the exception of the Fundamentals of Nursing Lab, which measures 2,500 sq. ft. The available labs include:

These laboratories provide state-of-the-art learning facilities, allowing students to develop technical skills before working with patients. The Apollo Simulation Centre, located within the campus, further enhances learning by allowing students to practice both technical and non-technical skills—such as communication, teamwork, and decision-making—through trial and error, guided by faculty mentors during debriefing sessions. This training instills confidence in students, enabling them to deliver nursing care effectively while minimizing errors due to inexperience.
The Administrative Block covers 4000 sq ft and includes offices for the Principal, Secretary, Vice Principal, Clerical Staff, and the Accounts Department, along with a conference room on the ground floor.
The faculty offices are located on the second floor and are organized by department as follows:
- Fundamentals of Nursing Department
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Department
- Child Health Nursing Department
- Community Health Nursing Department
- Mental Health Nursing Department
- OBG Nursing Department
Each department, spanning 1500 sq ft, with separate rooms for HOD’s. Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers, and Assistant Lecturers have alloted space in their respective specialties. Most of the senior Faculty are PhD Holders and others are pursuing their.
The hostel block is a prominent structure on campus, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for female students. It offers excellent living rooms, recreation facilities, sanitary facilities, and a reliable 24-hour water supply.
Clinical experiences for students are facilitated at various Apollo Hospitals,Greams Road, Apollo Cancer Centre, Teynampet, First Med Hospital, Apollo Children’s Hospital, Apollo Cradle Women’s Hospital, Apollo Hosptials OMR and Karambakkam as well as Apollo Specialty Hospitals, Vanagaram, which is within the campus. These facilities collectively offer over 1500 beds.
Students have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including both male and female individuals across all age groups and different stages of illness. Faculty members are assigned to guide students in all clinical areas, maintaining a student-to-faculty ratio of 1:10.
Students benefit from transport facilities that allow them to easily access Apollo Hospitals and other clinical posting locations. Faculty members also have access to pick-up and drop-off services between the college and the pick up points near their residences along Staff trip routes.
