Overview
The Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF) is a not-for-profit society registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350 F), in Hyderabad on the 8th of June 1992. AHERF’s vision is to establish, maintain, and support medical schools, colleges, and similar institutions for medical education and the advancement of research in medicine and allied health disciplines. The society has been recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
AHERF currently operates from two campuses, located in Chittoor and Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad campus houses the following institutes:
- Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR)
- Apollo College of Nursing
- Apollo School of Physiotherapy
The Chittoor campus houses the following institutes:
