Principal's Message

As the Principal of the College of Nursing at Apollo Hospitals in Bilaspur, I am filled with pride and joy. The nursing profession represents one of the most dynamic and influential advancements in human society. The goal of nursing education is to foster the intellectual and emotional growth of students, enabling them to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to serve humanity effectively. To achieve this, both nursing educators and students must adhere to a structured, pre-planned educational program.
Our primary objective is to produce clinically proficient, community-focused nurses. We place a strong emphasis on the holistic development of our students’ personalities. This involves training that encourages intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, and overall growth in a secure environment. We take pride in our top-notch teaching and learning environment, the dedication of our staff, the support services available to our students, and our state-of-the-art facilities.
Nursing education is more dynamic than ever, thanks to rapidly evolving healthcare delivery systems, the continuously changing nursing education landscape, and the advancement of information and communication technologies. Our goal in this ever-changing environment is to develop lifelong learners who are competent, self-assured, independent, and adaptable nursing professionals. We are committed to student-centered learning, adhering to the principles of adult education, and emphasizing higher learning objectives, comprehension, analysis, and the application of knowledge.
Our alumni, who serve as our true ambassadors, are thriving both in India and abroad. The accomplishments of our former nursing students are our greatest source of motivation and inspiration.
– Dr. Shailvina Nand
