Principal's Message

Welcome to Apollo College of Nursing, Madurai, a flagship institution under the Apollo Hospitals Educational Trust (AHET), Chennai. Founded by our beloved Chairman, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, and operationally headed by Mr. V. Satyanarayan Reddy, our college is dedicated to fostering excellence in nursing education.
Apollo College of Nursing, Madurai, was established in 2010 to offer the basic B.Sc. nursing degree course in South Tamil Nadu. The college was inaugurated by Dr. Josphine Little Flower, the former Registrar of the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai, on 25th August 2010. In 2020, the Government granted approval to enhance the intake capacity for the B.Sc. Nursing program, and the first batch of 100 students was admitted in the academic year 2022–2023. Our students are rigorously prepared to uphold professional standards and are guided in quality nursing practice by a team of qualified, experienced, and committed teaching faculty.
We emphasize the holistic development of our students, balancing academic excellence with participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Our curriculum is designed to instill strong moral and ethical values, which are fundamental to the nursing profession. The college also promotes and conducts academic clinical partnership programs and faculty development programs, encouraging participation in various national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Graduates of our institution are placed in various roles across government and private hospitals, educational institutions, industries, schools, community settings, and other sectors both in India and abroad.
