Admission Criteria
B.Sc. Nursing 4-Year Course
- Entrance Exam:
- The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will conduct an OMR-based Common Entrance Test of JENPAS(UG)-for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing Course in various colleges and institutes across West Bengal.
- Age:
- Candidates must be at least 17 years old.
- Citizenship:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must be a domicile of West Bengal.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Must have passed 10 +2 (Higher Secondary) examination from a recognized board/council.
- Required subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- English
Note: Candidates must have completed both theory and practical examinations in these subjects.
- Minimum Aggregate Marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology):
- General and EWS Candidates: Minimum 45% marks
- SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD Candidates: Minimum 40% marks
- Medical Fitness:
- Candidates must be medically fit.
Admission Process
- The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts the Offline Entrance Examination for all nursing courses.
- Seat allotment to college is through e-Central counseling on the basis of merit and choice of candidate.
